Angel Doll Amigurumi Pattern Instructions

Materials

  • Crochet hook 2,5 or 3mm/ C or D hook.
  • Tapestry needle.
  • Safety eyes 8mm.
  • Stuffing.
  • Skin coloured cotton .
  • Dark Pink cotton .
  • White cotton.
  • Pink cotton.
  • Left over black cotton.
  • Dark brown cotton.
  • Dark brown acrylic yarn.

Abbreviations

  • ch =chain
  • tch = turning chain
  • slst= slipstitch
  • mr = magic ring
  • sc = single crochet
  • scfch = single crochet foundation chain
  • scbl = single crochet through back loop
  • scfl = single crochet through front loop
  • hdc = half double crochet
  • dc = double crochet
  • tc = treble crochet
  • pst3 = popcornstitch 3dc
  • sc2tog = sc 2 sc together

Angel Doll Free Amigurumi

HEAD

Use the skin colored yarn.

1. mr 6sc. (6sc.)
2. 2sc in 1sc. repeat (12sc.)
3. 1sc, 2sc in 1sc. repeat (18sc.)
4. 2sc, 2sc in 1sc. repeat (24sc.)
5. 3sc, 2sc in 1sc. repeat (30sc.)
6. 4sc 2sc in 1sc. repeat (36sc.)
7. 5sc, 2sc in 1sc. repeat (42sc.)
8. 6sc, 2sc in 1sc. repeat (48sc.)
9. 48sc through front loops.
10-19. 48sc.
20. 6sc, sc2tog. repeat (42sc.)
21. 5sc, sc2tog. repeat (36sc.)

Place the eyes on row 16 with 7sc in between.
22. 4sc, sc2tog. repeat (30sc.)
23. 3sc, sc2tog. repeat (24sc.)
24. 2sc, sc2tog. repeat (18sc.)

Stuff the head and keep stuffing until it’s closed.
25. 1sc, sc2tog. repeat (12 sc.)
26. sc2tog. repeat (6sc.)
Close the ring and F.O.

Now with the skin coloured yarn and a tapestry needle, make a nose that’s 3sc wide.
Take some black yarn and make 2 small diagonal lines for the eyelashes.

HEAD

HAIR

Use the Dark brown cotton yarn.
We are going to make a wig first.

1. mr 6sc. (6sc.)
2. 2sc in 1sc. repeat (12sc.)
3. 1sc, 2sc in 1sc. repeat (18sc.)
4. 2sc, 2sc in 1sc. repeat (24sc.)
5. 3sc, 2sc in 1sc. repeat (30sc.)
6. 4sc 2sc in 1sc. repeat (36sc.)
7. 5sc, 2sc in 1sc. repeat (42sc.)
8. 6sc, 2sc in 1sc. repeat (48sc.)
9. 48sc through front loops.
10-17. 48sc. (8rounds)
Finish Off.

Use the pictures below as a guideline

  • Make sure the wig fits (picture 1).
  • Cut 96 strands of dark brown acrylic yarn with a length of aprox 45cm (18”)
  • Start attaching the strands of yarn, per 2 strands, by folding the strands in half and looping them through the last row of the wig (picture 2).
  • Secure the strands in place by pulling through the ends of the strands through the loops you just made (picture 3).
  • Do this for the entire rim of the wig (picture 4.)
  • Seperate a small piece of hair in the front, not using too many strands and making sure the wig has no ”bald” spots. Pull the rest of the hair up in a high pony tail and secure in place with a small strand of the brown acrylic yarn or a small elastic (picture 5).
  • Now place the wig on the head again and twist the strands you left out, and secure them underneath the ponytail (picture 6.)

LEGS (Make 2)

Start with the Dark pink.
Use pictures below as a guideline

1. mr 6sc. (6sc.)
2. 2sc in 1sc. repeat (12sc.)
3. 12sc.
4. 2sc in 1sc, 2sc, sc3tog, 6sc (11sc.)
5. 4sc, sc2tog, 5sc (10sc.)
6. 10sc.
7. In the front loops only; 1sc, 1ch, 1sc in the next stitch, 1ch repeat. So do not skip a stitch with the 1chain.

Switch color to skin colored yarn.
8. Return to the back loops from round 7. insert hook; 10sc.
9-24. 10 sc. (16 rounds.)

Switch color to Dark pink.
25-26. 10sc. (2rounds.)

Finish Off

  • Continueing with the Dark pink.
  • Insert your crochet hook in the middle of the side of one of the legs, in the round we just made.
  • Make sure the feet are pointing towards you.
  • Chain 3 and with 1sc into the top row of the other leg, secure the legs together.
  • Crochet 10sc around the first leg. Crochet 3sc in the chain. 10sc around the next leg. 3sc in the chain. 10sc around the first leg again and 3sc in the sc’s we made in the chain. You should be on the back of her legs now. Place your stitchmarker here.

BODY

Continueing with the Dark pink

1. 26sc.
2. 4sc, 2sc in 1sc, 12sc, 2sc in 1sc, 8sc (12sc.)
3. 28sc.

Switch color to skin colored yarn.
4. Back loops only; 4sc, 2sc in 1sc, 13sc, 2sc in 1sc, 9sc (30sc.)
5-6. 30sc (2 rounds.)

8-17. 28sc (10 rounds.)

Finish Off.

WINGS

Use the white cotton.
We are going to make 2 big wings and 2 smaller wings.

Big Wings (Make 2)

Continueing with the smallest piece you just made (picture 1)
1. 5sc, insert hook in the middle piece, 5sc, insert hook in largest piece, 10sc, 5sc in the middle piece, 5sc in the smallest piece (picture 2&3).
2. 30sc. (picture 4.)
3. 8sc, sc2tog. repeat. (27sc.)
4. 7sc, sc2tog. repeat. (24sc.)
5. 6sc, sc2tog. repeat. (21sc.)
6. 5sc, sc2tog. repeat. (18sc.)
7. 18sc.
8. 4sc, sc2tog. repeat. (15sc.)
9. 3sc, sc2tog. repeat. (12sc.)
Make sure you finish some where on the side of a wing and sc the wing shut. Finish Off.

Small Wings (Make 2)

Small Wings

Continueing with the smallest piece you just made.
1. 5sc, insert hook in the middle piece, 5sc, insert hook in largest piece, 10sc, 5sc in the middle piece, 5sc in the smallest piece.
2. 30sc.
3. 8sc, sc2tog. repeat. (27sc.)
4. 7sc, sc2tog. repeat. (24sc.)
5. 6sc, sc2tog. repeat. (21sc.)
6. 5sc, sc2tog. repeat. (18sc.)
7. 4sc, sc2tog. repeat. (15sc.)
8. 3sc, sc2tog. repeat. (12sc.)
Make sure you finish some where on the side of a wing and sc the wing shut. Finish Off.

Now place the smaller wing on top of the bigger wing. Make sure they are reversed, you should have a mirror image of the other wing, sew them together (picture 5&6.)

Wings

ARMS (Make 2)

Use the skin colored yarn.

1. mr 6. (6sc.)
2. 1sc, 2sc in 1sc. repeat. (9sc.)
3-4. 9sc (2 rounds).
5. 2sc, 1pst3, 6sc. (9sc.)
6-21. 9sc. (16 rounds.)

Place the arm flat. Make sure the thumb is pointing outwards. Make sure your hook is in the corner, if not sc until you’re there. Now close off the arm with 3sc and 1slst.
Don’t attach the arms just yet.

DRESS

Use the Pink yarn
Use pictures below as a guideline
We are going to start by making 6 small hearts.

6x
1. in a mr; ch3, 3tc, 3dc, ch1, 1tc, ch1, 3dc, 3tc, 3ch, slst. Close the magic ring.
2. ch1, 3sc in chain space, 6sc, 1sc in chain space, 1sc, 1sc in chain space, 6sc, 3sc in chain space, slst in the center of the mr.
Finish Off (Picture 1)

Now we are going to attach the hearts together.
Using some pins, attach the hearts together (Picture 2) Making sure the hearts are facing downwards. We are going to crochet the hearts together as follows;

1.Attach pink yarn in the point of your first heart with a sc. Sc 3, attach new heart, sc 3 towards the point, sc 1 in the point, sc 3, attach new heart. Sc 3 towards the point, 1 sc in the point, sc 3. (picture 3&4.)
Continue ’till all six hearts are secured. Finish off with a sc in the top of the first heart. (42sc.)

Dress

2. 5sc, sc2tog (36sc.)
3. 4sc, sc2tog (30sc.)
4. 30sc.
5. sc2tog, 13sc, sc2tog, 13sc (28sc.)
6-9. 28sc (4 rounds.)
10. sc2tog, 26sc (27sc.)
11-12. 26sc. (2 rounds.)
13. 17sc, ch1, turn
14-25. 2sc, 1ch, turn (12 rounds.) Don’t FO.
Sc down the strap we just made, along the top of the dress and back up the strap (picture 3.)
Finish off and leave a thread.

Dress

Attach the arms two rounds below the neck, make sure the thumbs are pointing towards you. Turn the dress upside down and attach the Dark pink yarn at the bottom of the dress. Sc all arounds the bottom. F.O.

Put on the dress and secure the strap with a needle and the leftover thread by going diagonally over her shoulder (picture 1).

Secure the wings with some needles on the back of the dress and sew them in place (picture 2&3).

Assembling

Now to finish off, attach the head and voilá, your angel is done!
