Gengar Free Crochet Pattern

Today we share one free amigurumi crochet pattern again for you. As you know we share new amigurumi free patterns every day. This is a simple pattern that would be great for beginners looking to practice amigurumi techniques. I recommend using 8 ply cotton yarn with a 2-4mm hook. You will need approx 100-150 grams of yarn (this will depend on your gauge and hook size).

Gengar Crochet Pattern Instructions

Materials

  • 2.00mm-4.00mm crochet hook
  • 100-150g 8 ply yarn in dark purple (cotton works best) (amount needed will vary on gauge and/or hook size)
  • Yarn sewing needle
  • Standard sewing needle and thread
  • Felt- Black, red, white

Thread yarn through the end of each arm and out the other side, pull tight and tie to narrow the hand area. Weave ends.

Row 1: MR 5 (5). Pull tight to make a small knot and fo.

Pin fingers in place and attach to body. Weave through all ends.

FACE

Face

Use the above image as a guide for the felt face features. You will need to scale it to your gauge and hook size. I printed this image out and pinned it to the felt to get the shapes right. I used a black base and then added the red and white features on top to give a black outline. You can either stitch the face features
on or glue them in place.
